BeActive Day
As part of the national #BeActiveDay campaign, this year marked a record level of participation and engagement, demonstrating the growing interest of citizens in active and healthy lifestyles. Through more than 100 events organized across over 50 schools and municipalities nationwide, the campaign successfully mobilized more than 6,000 participants from diverse age groups and backgrounds.
The activities were implemented in cooperation with schools, local authorities, sports clubs, fitness centers, and other local partners, ensuring broad outreach and accessibility for communities across the country. Participants had the opportunity to engage in a variety of sports and recreational activities, gain knowledge about the benefits of physical activity, and develop positive habits that support healthy living.
A strong emphasis was placed on inclusion and equal opportunities for participation. As a long-standing tradition of the campaign, the #BeActiveDay Mini Run for children was successfully organized, attracting a large number of young participants. At the same time, the number of registered participants with disabilities increased significantly, highlighting the campaign’s commitment to creating inclusive sporting events that are accessible to everyone.
#BeActiveDay continues to promote physical activity as a key contributor to healthier, more active, and higher-quality lifestyles. Through sport, the campaign fosters social cohesion, inclusion, mutual support, and the development of healthy habits among citizens. The growing number of events and participants each year demonstrates the relevance, impact, and sustainability of this initiative in strengthening community well-being and encouraging lifelong engagement in physical activity.
