FAIR GAME
The FAIR GAME project was officially launched through an international conference ,,Gender-equal Access to Movement and Exercise” , held on 24–25 March in Peja (Pekj), Kosovo.
The project is led by the Komuna e Pejës as the lead partner, in cooperation with:Local Democracy Agency of Kosovo , Provincia di Vicenza, Vicenza Calcio Femminile, ALDA – European Association for Local Democracy, Gradska uprava Zavidovići, ALD Zavidovici, Município de Macedo de Cavaleiros, Associação de Futebol de Bragança, Grad Zagreb, Sportski savez Grada Zagreba (SSGZ), Општина Карпош, and TAKT – Together Advancing Common Trust.
The conference aimed to bring together partners, representatives of local authorities, civil society organizations, and community members in order to raise awareness about the role of women in sport and physical activity.
Through engaging discussions and expert presentations, key challenges were addressed and approaches were proposed to advance gender equality in sport.
The second day was dedicated to the first Transnational Project Meeting (TPM), where partners aligned on priorities, activities, and next steps.
Together, we are working to build a strong network of cities that actively support the empowerment of women and girls through sport.
