Participation at the HEPA Conference and Final Partner Meeting for the “BASE” Project!
Together with our project partners, we participated in the HEPA Conference and the final partner meeting held in Kaunas, Lithuania, where we had the opportunity to present our activities and achieved results within the BASE project.
At the Conference of the European Network for the Promotion of Health-Enhancing Physical Activity (HEPA Europe) in Kaunas, Lithuania, the BASE project was presented as part of international dissemination and the exchange of good practices. Our participation provided a platform to showcase the project’s activities and outcomes, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and community impact.
As part of the BASE project, we successfully implemented social and physical activities in Kriva Palanka, Kichevo, Skopje, Vinica, Tetovo, and Kumanovo, organizing over 50 activities and engaging more than 570 older adult participants.
The project aims to transform the negative consequences of COVID-19, which were most evident in the areas of social inclusion, healthy lifestyles, and the physical and mental health of older adults, who often face challenges in becoming active and socially engaged again.
