SPIDER
Our vision is that more youngsters benefit from more, more aligned and more targeted sport for development activities. For it, our S4D activites are offered based on the youngsters’ immediate social context, which we call a Spider Active Neighbourhood.
The activities are coordinated by trained Spider Active Neighbourhood Champions across the different local youth empowerment stakeholders. This includes sports clubs, schools, the municipality, and youth centres.
The project is implemented by a consortium of 8 partners from 7 European countries.
Project partners are: SPIN Sport Innovation | Fachhochschule Salzburg | THRIVE Institute | TAKT – Together Advancing Common Trust | Association Mundus Bulgaria | Ericeira Surf Clube | Universidad de Málaga | Diputación de Málaga
The Spider Initiative is funded by the #EuropeanUnion.
