With the end of June, the three-year Sport4Resilience programme officially came to a close!
Sport4Resilience is an initiative dedicated to strengthening resilience, psychosocial skills, and social cohesion among children and young people through sport, as well as innovative and inclusive approaches.
Over the past three years, the programme in N. Macedonia brought together teachers, students, young people, civil society organizations, university professors, and university students, who collectively contributed to building safer, more inclusive, and better-connected communities.
The programme was successfully implemented in Kumanovo, Skopje, Tetovo, and Štip.
Although the programme has officially ended, its impact will continue. The methodologies, games, and tools developed through Sport4Resilience will remain part of the everyday work of the schools, universities, and organizations involved, continuing to create positive change and new opportunities for young people.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participants, partners, teachers, professors, university students, school students, and organizations for their dedication, active participation, and valuable contribution throughout these three years.
The programme was implemented in partnership with PLAY International and REGSPO.
The programme was co-funded by AFD – Agence Française de Développement.
